TOEFL
The TOEFL is an English proficiency test accepted by universities around the world to check whether international students can study in English. A good score is often needed for admission, scholarships and visa requirements for courses in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada and Australia.
The test was redesigned in January 2026. It is now shorter, with Reading and Listening that adjust to your level, new task types, and a band score from 1 to 6 for each section. Now Classes prepares you for this new format with live online classes and regular practice in all four skills.
Live, board-specific The TOEFL is for students who plan to study abroad and need to show their English ability, usually after Grade 12 or during a degree. Many students take it alongside SAT, ACT or other admission tests. Each university and course sets its own score requirement, so check the admissions page of your target universities before booking.
Cost of SAT exam in Dubai? The test has four sections: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, and takes about 90 minutes in total. Reading and Listening adapt to how you perform, and Writing and Speaking use short, real-life tasks. Each section gets a band from 1 to 6 in half-point steps, and your overall score is the average of the four.
